Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Rivaa and use our services. By creating an account and using the App, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You can form a binding contract with Rivaa.
  • You have not been suspended or removed from Rivaa in the past.
  • You will comply with these Terms and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.

2. Accounts & Security

When you register with Rivaa, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (email links or login tokens). You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, you must contact support immediately at support@rivaa.co.

3. Identity & Selfie Verification Policies

Rivaa strives to build an authentic community. We require user verification to access search and matching tools. By initiating verification, you agree to capture a selfie which will be compared to your uploaded profile photographs. Attempting to submit photos of other individuals, static screenshots, or computer-generated images to bypass verification is a material violation of these Terms and will lead to immediate account termination.

4. Code of Conduct

As a member of Rivaa, you agree to treat other users with respect. You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Harassing, bullying, stalking, or intimidating any other user.
  • Impersonating another person, creating fake accounts, or posting false or misleading information.
  • Posting sexually explicit content, nudity, violence, or hate speech.
  • Using the App for commercial purposes, spam, or soliciting financial transactions.
  • Deploying bots, scrapers, or other automated mechanisms to access data or manipulate matching systems.

We reserve the right to review, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts that violate this Code of Conduct at our sole discretion.

5. Intellectual Property & User Content

You retain ownership of the photos, bio text, and messages you submit to the App. However, by uploading content, you grant Rivaa a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, copy, and process your content strictly for the purpose of operating the matchmaking service.

Rivaa's logos, designs, software, layouts, and trademarks are the exclusive property of Rivaa Technologies Inc. and may not be copied or repurposed without written authorization.

6. Limitations & Disclaimers

Rivaa provides its services on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee the compatibility, background, or behavior of any users you match with.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rivaa Technologies Inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App, your interactions with other users, or any deletion/modification of your data.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of Rivaa shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or proceedings must be initiated in courts located in San Francisco, California.
